Brendon Huttman
H2F Director
Mr. Huttmann comes to us most recently from the Pittsburgh Pirates as the Director of Sports Science. He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas. He and his family just recently rescued a Golden Retriever (Dila) from Turkey!
CPT Lauren Hierholzer
Brigade Physical Therapist
CPT Hierholzer is joining the H2F team from San Antonio, Texas. She received her Bachelors in Health Science from Baylor University in 2015 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the US Army-Baylor Program in Physical Therapy in 2019.
Her role at H2F includes the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, overseeing the Injury Control pillar, and helping with related program, such as reconditioning PRT. One interesting fact about CPT Hierholzer is that the world outside her work life
revolves around her 2 dogs, Cody and Pippa, and she spends most of her weekends rock climbing.
Christopher Burkett
Brigade Dietitian
Chris comes to us most recently from working with MARSOC as the Performance Dietitian for 2nd MRB. He received his Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech, and his Masters in Exercise Physiology from Florida State. He has run 5 half-marathons and 1 marathon!
Sam Mitchell
Brigade Occupational Therapist
An Army veteran of 11 years, Sam is coming to us from New Jersey. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Campbell University and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Methodist University. Her experience as an Occupational Therapist began in Orthopedics, treating upper extremity injuries, and expanded to treatment of neurological injuries such as TBI's. One interesting fact about Sam is that is in a documentary about female veterans coming back from home deployment.
Josh Conner
Lead Strength Coach
Coach Josh comes to us most recently as the Director of Strength & Conditioning for Warner University. He received his Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee, and his Masters in Business Administration from Weber International University. He is a long suffering UT fan (make sure to bring it up when you see him)!
Karen Fallis
Lead Athletic Trainer
Karen comes to us most recently from working with Select Medical as an Athletic Trainer. She received her Bachelors from University of South Florida in Athletic Training, and her Masters from University of Kansas in Education. She doesn't eat anything that comes out of the water!

McKenzie Look
Brigade Athletic Trainer
Originally from Gilroy, CA, McKenzie joins the H2F team as one of our athletic trainers. Her educational background includes a Bachelors in Athletic Training from Washington State University and her Masters in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana.
As an Athletic Trainer, plays a major role in our injury control team by treating and managing musculoskeletal injuries, and helping the
occupational therapy team with TBI treatment and recovery. She also oversees the reconditioning PRT program with the H2F Injury Control lead and provides field coverage for field trainings and airborne operations within the BDE. One interesting fact about McKenzie is that she once participated in The Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
SGT Destiny Vinson
Physical Therapy Assistant
SGT Vinson is from the state of Michigan and is one of our Physical Therapy Assistants in the injury control pillar. She is currently working on her Bachelors in Kinesiology. One interesting fact about SGT Vinson is that she can play 7 different instruments.
PFC Meagan Kunze
Physical Therapy Assistant
Originally from Oak Harbor, Washington, PFC Kunze is one of our Physical Therapy Assistants (68F). Her educational background includes an Associates in Biology and she is currently working on her Bachelors in Kinesiology. One interesting fact about PFC Kunze is that she is the only H2F staff member born after the year 2000.
Maddisen Mohnsen
Brigade Strength Coach
Coach Maddisen is joining the H2F team from Omaha, NE. His educational background includes a Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and he is currently working towards his MBA in Sports Management from the University of North Texas. His current certifications includes NSCA CSCS, USAW L1, and NCI Nutrition Level 1. One interesting fact about Coach Maddisen is that he can’t stand the taste of fish despite working in a sushi restaurant for 4 years.
Renee Compiano
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Originally from Chicago, Renee began her career working in Corporate America, obtaining a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa. She returned to college to study Occupational Therapy, beginning a second career as a clinical practitioner with UNC Rex Rehab in 2018. Renee has a passion for mind/body/spirit and wellness and is honored to now be a part of the H2F team for the US Army’s 20 EN BDE.
Asia Isadore
Brigade Nutrition Educator
Originally from Charleston, SC, Asia transitioned to the H2F team from recently spending the last 8 years as an active duty Human Resources Officer. Her educational background includes a Bachelors in Biology from Francis Marion University, a second Bachelors in Food and Nutrition Sciences from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), and a Masters in Exercise Science and Wellness with a concentration in Nutrition from Liberty University. She also recently completed a Dietetic Internship program to pursue becoming a Registered Dietitian. One interesting fact about Asia is that she is both a Yoga and Indoor Cycling instructor.

Alissa Castellon
Brigade Strength and Conditioning Coach
Alissa is joining the H2F team from Saugerties, NY. She received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from UNCW and is also CSCS and USAW-L1 certified. Alissa's fun fact is that she danced ballet for 20 years and wrestled in the 8th grade.
Nijah Richardson
Cognitive Performance Specialist
Nijah was born in Newark, NJ where she spent the majority of her childhood until moving to Myrtle Beach, SC at the age of 12. Upon finishing high school, Nijah enrolled at Limestone University where she ran as a sprinter for the school’s track & field team during her freshman year. Later, Nijah transferred to South Carolina State University where she received her B.S. of Psychology. Go Bulldogs! It was in that environment that Nijah discovered her passion for sport psychology. She began setting her sights on her professional future and relocated back to NJ where she furthered her education at Seton Hall University. There she earned her M.A. of Psychological Studies with a concentration in Sport & Exercise Psychology. Go Pirates!
Nijah is currently the Cognitive Performance Specialist, (CPS), for H2F. Her goal is to assist soldiers who strive to achieve maximum performance on a consistent basis through mental skills training.
A fun fact about Nijah is that she is competitive and a fan of sports. She plays WR for a travel flag football team and plays basketball recreationally. She also enjoys a healthy challenge and trash talking her opponents while competing.
